Now Accepting Artist-in-Residence Applications

The Artist-in-Residence Program provides an opportunity for artists to pursue their work in the inspiring landscape and history of Caribou Ranch. Application deadline is Feb. 1.

Ron Stewart Preserve Closed Mondays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays

Ron Stewart Preserve at Rabbit Mountain is closed Monday through Wednesday until Jan. 31 for elk management. The park will reopen during the week if management activities conclude early. The park is open Thursday through Sunday and will be open for certain holidays.

Boulder Area Trails App

The Boulder Area Trails app provides access to trail information in and around Boulder County. The app includes 295 trailheads and 1,440 miles of trail from 12 different agencies.

COVID-19 Safety Information

Bring a face covering.
Face coverings are required at trailheads, when passing other visitors, and when six feet of distancing cannot be maintained. See the Public Health Order for more information.
Give space to others on the trails.
Please stay at least six feet away from people who are not from the same household.
Follow all rules and regulations.
Park in designated spaces only and follow trail directional arrows. Rangers are issuing fines for violations.
Visit on weekdays to avoid crowds.
Parks and trails are generally less crowded on weekdays. Parking lots are full as early as 8 a.m. on weekends.
