Watershed Health

The Boulder County Public Health Water Quality Program is actively engaged with Boulder County residents and stakeholders on a wide range of issues including:

  • Stormwater management
  • Wastewater treatment
  • Water quality impacts 

Partners

The Keep It Clean Partnership (KICP) is a consortium that focus their efforts on a cooperative watershed-based approach to stormwater management.

The Boulder Area Sustainability Information Network (BASIN) is a local community service network offering public access to environmental information.

The Left Hand Watershed Oversight Group provides community awareness about the handling of mine waste sites in the Lefthand Creek Watershed were heightened by the possibility of having them listed for receiving EPA "Superfund" resources.

The Boulder Creek Watershed Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to informing the community about water resources and issues that affect the health of Boulder Creek Watershed.
