Boulder Community Housing Corporation

The Boulder Community Housing Corporation (BCHC) was established in 1984 as a supporting non-profit of the Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA). The BCHA was established under the laws of the State of Colorado on March 18th, 1975 and maintains an active role in providing affordable housing throughout Boulder County by evolving with the conditions and market needs of the communities and jurisdictions it serves. The BCHC is the non-profit 501 ( c ) 3 organization that serves as the umbrella agency for the Casa de la Esperanza and Family Self-Sufficiency programs.

 

Board Membership Information

The composition of the Board of Directors includes individuals with knowledge in the areas of finance, case management, program development, affordable housing, child welfare, domestic violence and undocumented families.

There are currently six (6) BCHC Directors who serve three-year appointments and attend four (4) regular Corporation meetings per year.

Serving on the BCHC board are (two) 2 Directors with backgrounds in finance, one (1) Director is a FSS participant that recently graduated from the program, another Director is a private therapist who lives in affordable senior housing, one (1) Director is a journalist and the newest Director of the BCHC board is a stay-at- home mom who is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience in the child welfare field.
