Pre-bid Location: | Optional Site Visit The county will accept and schedule all requests for site visits. All site visits must be scheduled and completed before March 5, 2021. Please call Rick Kattar, at 303-589-5864, to schedule appointments. During onsite visits the guidelines are as follows: Nothing can change hands. No documents, business cards, sign-in sheets, etc. All participants are required to wear face coverings at all times. All participants are required to maintain at least 6 feet of physical distancing at all times. Group sizes must stay within guidelines as issued by Boulder County Public Health. Participants will be allowed to take photos or videos of the site in order to review with subs. In order to keep a level playing field, and in the interest of transparency, no discussion is allowed during onsite visits. Any questions that arise during the course of visits must be submitted in writing to the bid. The County will not be answering any questions during the site visit. |
Other Comments: | Purpose/Background Boulder County is requesting proposals for the upgrade of the fiber sort lines at its single-stream Material Recovery Facility (MRF) primarily through the utilization of optical sorting machines. Goals of the upgrade include the following:

Written Inquiries All inquiries regarding this RFP will be submitted via email to the Boulder County Purchasing Office at purchasing@bouldercounty.org on or before 2:00 p.m. March 12, 2021. A response from the county to all inquiries will be posted and sent via email no later than March 17, 2021. Please do not contact any other county department or personnel with questions or for information regarding this solicitation. Submittal Instructions Submittals are due at the email box only, listed below, for time and date recording on or before 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time on March 31, 2021. The attached addendum supersedes the original Information and Specifications regarding RFP # 7205-21 where it adds to, deletes from, clarifies or otherwise modifies.
