The Housing & Human Services Advisory Committee is now more commonly known as the Family Resource Network Regional Council, or FRN Regional Council.
The vision of the FRN is that families in Boulder County are valued, healthy, and thriving. FRN members work to improve the self-reliance outcomes of families and the social, emotional and academic outcomes of children and youth in Boulder County. This is done through two levels- the Regional Council and Local Area Collaboratives.
The FRN uses a two-generation approach (2Gen) in serving families. This approach addresses the needs of both children and the adults in their lives together. More information about the 2Gen approach can be found at the Aspen Institute website.
Our Leadership
The FRN Regional Council is comprised of senior leadership from local government, school districts, and service providers. These partners address a broad range of basic needs across the county and agree to work together to provide these services in the most effective way. They can make decisions collaboratively that can improve how services are provided to families. The Regional Council meets every other month.
