Position Title:Seed Collection Crew Leader

Time Commitment or Project Date:Lead at least three projects from June through October

Program Summary:
Do you have a desire to learn more about native plants? Parks and Open Space is partnering with Wildlands Restoration Volunteers to train volunteers to lead native seed collection projects.
 
Imagine yourself strolling through lush meadows gathering ripe seeds that will be used to restore diversity to the public lands you love.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Seed Collection Crew Leaders are trained in botany and crew-leading skills, and lead groups of 6-10 untrained volunteers to collect native seeds.

Projects are moderately strenuous, and provide a great opportunity to learn about native plants and ecosystems.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Crew leaders must be at least 18 years old.

Crew leaders should enjoy working outdoors, have an outgoing personality, and be comfortable interacting with people of all ages.
