- Where: Walker Ranch Homestead, 8999 Flagstaff Mountain Road, approximately 7 miles west of Boulder.

Participation is part of the fun. Visitors can try their hand at the everyday jobs of the late 1800s and help costumed volunteers with chores such as doing laundry with a washboard and wringer, churning butter, and making buttons. During the event the blacksmith can be seen making hinges, nails, and other hardware needed around the ranch. Hands-on activities include tatting, ribbon braiding or embroidery, and playing the games your great grandparent may have played. Guided tours of the homestead take place throughout the day.
A new attraction this year is a photo booth where visitors can dress in costumes and take an “old-time” photo.
No food is for sale at the event; please leave pets and bikes at home.
