Bomb Threat

Boulder County, Colo. - On May 23, 2016 at 11:39 a.m., Boulder County Sheriff's deputies and personnel from the Rocky Mountain Fire Department responded to the Nevin Platt Middle School on a bomb threat.

The threat was received at the school, 6096 Baseline Road from what is believed to be a computer generated message, with little in detail or specifics. The Sheriff's Office and the Boulder Valley School District learned that other schools throughout the country had received similar threats.

Deputies assisted the school staff in searching the school, with nothing unusual found. The threat was deemed not credible.
