Boulder County, Colo. – Boulder County Elections and Avery Brewing Company are teaming up to host a Vote Early Day event on Saturday, October 23. Vote Early Day is a nationwide movement of over 2700 election administrators, nonprofits, and businesses that aims to ensure that Americans know their options for voting early so that last-minute problems do not stop them from casting their ballot. The day was first celebrated in 2020 and the new civic holiday continues this year on Saturday, October 23.

At this event, voters can drop off their ballots in the 24-hour Ballot Box at Avery Brewing, pick up an “I Voted” sticker, sign-up to register to vote (last day to mail ballots is Monday, October 25), ask election-related questions of staff, and get Vote Early Day memorabilia (while supplies last). Clerk and Recorder Molly Fitzpatrick and members of the elections staff will be present.

What: Celebrate National Vote Early Day with Boulder County Elections

When: Saturday, October 23, 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. No RSVP required.

Where: 4910 Nautilus Court in Gunbarrel. Weather permitting, this will be an outdoor gathering.

“We are delighted to partner once again with Avery Brewing to host a Vote Early Day event,” stated Molly Fitzpatrick, Boulder County Clerk & Recorder. “Last year, we hosted a similar event at their location and it was really a great opportunity to give voters the chance to drop off their ballots or meet with us in a casual, outside location to ask election related questions. It is about bringing awareness to the voting process and making ourselves accessible to the community. We also thank Avery Brewing for their generosity in having us.”

“Continuing to have a 24-hour mail ballot drop box at our location, and hosting a Vote Early Day event again for the elections office is an easy way for us to give back to the Boulder County community that has supported us,” said Adam Avery, founder of Avery Brewing Company. “Hosting a non-partisan voter engagement event is an important way to bring focus to the importance of local elections, and we were happy to help.”
