Boulder County Elections to host Open House / Ballot Processing Tours

Tours scheduled for October 31 and November 4. Students encouraged to attend the event.


Boulder County, Colo. – Boulder County Clerk and Recorder Molly Fitzpatrick will host an elections open house/ballot processing tours on Thursday, October 31 and Monday, November 4, at the Elections Division Ballot Processing Center.

  • What: Elections Division Open House/Ballot Processing Center Tours
  • When:

    • Thursday, October 31, 12 p.m.–1:30 p.m. with tours approximately every 30 minutes

    • Monday, November 4, 4:30 p.m.– 6 p.m. with tours approximately every 30 minutes

  • Where: 1750 33rd Street in Boulder – Elections Division Ballot Processing Center (look for signs)
  • RSVP: RSVP encouraged, but not required. RSVP at: https://boco.org/2019ElectionTours

These tours offer people interested in local elections the opportunity to see how ballots are processed, understand how signatures are verified on mail ballots, and learn about how ballot resolution works, among other ballot processing procedures and safeguards. Visitors will be able to observe workers processing ballots for the Tuesday, November 5 Coordinated Election. Students are strongly encouraged to attend to learn more about the elections process. Tours take about 30 minutes with questions.
