Westbound Jay Rd. will be closed from SH 119/Diagonal Highway to 51st St. on Sunday morning

Boulder County, Colo. - Without Limits Productions is holding the Boulder Peak Triathlon in Boulder County on Sunday, July 11, 2021. View the course map for the area of the race, which starts and finishes at the Boulder Reservoir.

Westbound Jay Rd. will be closed from SH 119/Diagonal Highway to 51st St. from 6:45-11 a.m. on Sunday. All other roads on the bike course, including eastbound Jay Rd. from 51st St. to SH 119/Diagonal Highway, will remain open throughout the race.

The first race will start at 7 a.m. Riders will be single file and spread out, with the last cyclists leaving Boulder Reservoir at approximately 10:20 a.m. All cyclists will be off the road by noon. A sweep vehicle will follow the last cyclists and alert the police and course marshals along the way so that traffic can return to normal as soon as possible.

If you are traveling through the area during the event please pay close attention to the Boulder County Sheriff, Colorado State Patrol, and the volunteer traffic marshals who will be helping to ensure safety for riders and travelers alike. When passing a bicyclist, motorists must allow at least three feet of space between their vehicle and a bicyclist. To pass a bicyclist safely, drivers may cross a double yellow center line when oncoming traffic is clear.
