Calling En Plein Air Artists for the 2018 Outdoor Creations – A Boulder County Juried Art Show

First paint session Saturday, May 19. Registration Open!

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Parks & Open Space has announced its fourth juried en plein air exhibit featuring county public lands. Artists are invited to visit county-owned open space to create work to submit for consideration.

New this year! Art created at any point in time is eligible; entries are no longer restricted to a specified paint-out period.

Paint sessions led by Ranger Fowler and other local artists will be held throughout the spring and summer. The first paint session will be Saturday, May 19, at the Agricultural Heritage Center. Artists may submit up to four pieces for a $30 entry fee. Entry fees will be used for cash prizes to be awarded to exhibitors. All profits will be donated to the Boulder County Parks & Open Space Foundation (www.PreserveBoulderCounty.org).

The exhibit will be held at The Great Frame Up – Longmont from Friday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Nov. 2, and the opening event will be catered by Guillaume’s European Catering.
