Community Meeting Concerning Restoration Design for James and Little James Creeks

Boulder County, Colo. - Funding has recently been
secured for creek restoration in portions of James Creek and Little James Creek.
Boulder County and the Lefthand Watershed
Oversight Group are working in collaboration with the James Creek Watershed
Initiative and the Town of Jamestown to develop stream restoration designs for the
two creeks.

Residents are invited to attend
a public meeting on Monday, March 28 to meet the consultant team, discuss the
design process, and learn about the expected benefits to the watershed. This is
an important opportunity to provide feedback on what residents near the creeks
would like to see on their property. The meeting will also outline the anticipated
construction timeframe and permission forms needed from property owners in
order to do the restoration work.
