Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) Community Meeting Schedule

  • The county will host six open houses in January at various locations around the county to review the FEMA appeal process and flood insurance requirements related to FEMA's Preliminary FIRMs.

Looking Ahead

This is the final Floodplain Remapping Project newsletter; however, the project website will continue to be your resource for new and updated information. FEMA's 90-day appeal period for the Preliminary FIRMs will begin in the spring of 2020. Detailed information on the appeals process, including start and end dates, will be available on the county website.
