Boulder County, Colo. (March 16, 2020) - Today, Colorado Gov. Jared Polis ordered a general shutdown of public spaces to further decrease the rapid spread of COVID-19.

Colorado currently has 160 positive cases of Coronavirus, with likely thousands of undetected cases, said Gov. Polis. These measures are being put in place to help reduce the rate of transmission and the rapid rise of cases, known as 'flattening the curve." This protects the integrity of our health care system and our most vulnerable populations.

All Boulder County facilities are closed for business until Monday, April 20. Message from the County Administrator Jana Petersen

This is an incredibly difficult time for all of us, but we are fortunate to be part of a resilient community. Though this situation is hard, and may get harder still, it’s important for all of us to remember that every individual action can save the lives of neighbors, family, friends, and co-workers: Practice social distancing, wash your hands frequently, take care of your mental and physical health, and find ways to stay connected virtually. We will get through this, together.
