James E. Ross arrested for eight felonies

Ross was arrested for five burglaries along Jay Road in unincorporated Boulder County

Boulder County, Colo. - On June 16, 2016, detectives with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office obtained an arrest warrant for James E. Ross, 62, no known residence.

The warrant contained charges for eight felonies and six misdemeanors, including second degree burglary, theft ($5,000-20,000), theft ($750-2,000), theft ($300-750), pawn broker violation and criminal mischief.

The warrant was issued for his arrest based on evidence from five burglaries that took place between February and April along Jay Road in unincorporated Boulder County.

He was already being held at the Boulder County Jail on a parole violation along with burglary and theft charges out of multiple counties when the warrant for his arrest was issued.

Bail on the warrant associated with the cases from Boulder County is set at $20,000.

The case numbers for the incidents are: 16-813, 16-933, 16-1261, 16-1759 and 16-2466.
