Magnolia Area Evacuation Lifted – Residents Can Return Home Effective Immediately

Residents Can Return Home Effective Immediately

Boulder County, Colo. - A dispatch notification was just sent to residents in the Magnolia area that the mandatory evacuation order for that area only has been lifted. Everbridge sent out 737 notifications to area residents at 11:15 a.m.

Magnolia Road will open at 11:30 a.m. from Boulder Canyon Road to Peak to Peak Highway, unrestricted.

Boulder Canyon from Sugarloaf Road to the Town of Nederland remains closed.

Mandatory evacuations remain in effect for subdivisions east of the Peak-to-Peak highway, north of Boulder Canyon and south of Sugarloaf Road.

Residents returning to homes in the Magnolia area will need to contact their utility provider to restart services if their services were turned off.

Thank you to everyone your patience and attention to personal safety during this difficult time for all residents in the Nederland Area.
