Online speaker sign-up now open for Aug. 30 BVCP Public Hearing
The Board of County Commissioners and the Planning Commission will hear recommendations and comment
Boulder County, Colo. - The online signup for the Tuesday, Aug. 30 Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan Public Hearing is now available at http://bit.ly/BVCP2016
On Aug. 30, a Public Hearing is scheduled for the Board of County Commissioners and Planning Commission to consider staff recommendations and public comment related to three land use change requests in Areas II and III of the Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan. The requests are being considered as part of the 2015 Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan Major Five Year Update. The agenda will address requests for land use changes in this order:
- 3261 3rd St. (#25); Minor Adjustment to Service Area Boundary (Area III to II)
- 2801 Jay Rd. (#29); Public (PUB) to Medium Density Residential (MR) or Mixed Density Residential (MXR)
- 6655 and 6500 Twin Lakes Rd. and 0 Kalua Rd. (#35 and #36); #35, Low Density Residential (LR) and Public (PUB) to Mixed Density Residential (MXR); #36 Low Density Residential (LR) and Public (PUB) to Open Space (OS) with Natural Ecosystems or Environmental Preservation designation
Public testimony will be taken, but no decisions will be made on Aug. 30. Decisions will be made at the following meetings: Planning Commission, Sept. 21, 1:30 p.m.; Board of County Commissioners, Sept. 27, 3:30 p.m.
The Aug. 30 hearing will be webstreamed live and archived.
The final staff recommendation and supporting materials will be available for public examination one week prior to the hearing at http://bit.ly/BVCP2016.
