Recruitment now underway for Land Use advisory boards and commissions

Boulder County invites residents to voice opinions, provide guidance

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County is recruiting residents to volunteer to serve on advisory boards and commissions concerning Land Use and the Building Code in unincorporated areas of the county. Members of the public are able to view vacancies and apply online for positions at www.boco.org/BoardVacancies.

There are currently openings for the Board of Review, Fire Code Review Committee, and Niwot Design Review Committee.

Advisory boards and commissions provide recommendations to the Boulder County Commissioners and give residents the opportunity to have their voices heard within Boulder County government. The county, in turn, benefits from this citizen input.

To view descriptions and requirements for the various boards and commissions or to fill out an application, visit the Advisory Boards and Commissions page of the Boulder County website.

The deadline to submit applications for the summer recruitment session is Thursday, Aug. 8.
