Salina Junction permanent flood recovery project anticipated to start week of Nov. 16
Public meeting Nov. 12 to discuss construction plans
Boulder County, Colo. - With
construction of permanent repairs at Salina Junction anticipated to begin the
week of Nov. 16, Boulder County and its engineering consultant will host a
public meeting on Nov. 12 for all interested parties to learn about the project
and its anticipated impacts.
Junction Permanent Flood Recovery Project Public Meeting
When: Thursday, Nov. 12, 5:30 p.m.
Where: Salina Schoolhouse, 536 Gold Run Road
Civil Constructors have been retained to complete the work, which is anticipated
to last through the spring of 2016. Current plans do not call for extended, full-time
road closures, but there will likely be travel delays of up to 15-minutes during
working hours, which are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. There may
be occasions when the road will need to be closed temporarily in order to
accommodate construction. Any full closure of the road will be noticed
seven-days in advance on the project
