Statement regarding employment of Deborah (Debbie) Ramirez


The Boulder County Commissioners’ Office affirms that Deborah (Debbie) Ramirez is a Boulder County Department of Housing & Human Services employee. Her job classification is Sr. Volunteer Coordinator. She has been a Boulder County employee since February 2013.

In her role as a volunteer coordinator, Debbie’s primary focus areas are:

  • Coordinating financial resources for families in need by matching requests for support with available funding sources – this includes getting families help with paying utility bills, buying food, purchasing items to support the care of their children, and other short-term financial supports;
  • Matching community donors with families and individuals in need during the holidays to help them purchase gifts for their children; and
  • Recruiting and working with community volunteers in support of families and children.
