Stolen vehicle recovery in Superior

Boulder County, Colo. - At approximately 11:35 A.M. today, Boulder County Sheriff's Office deputies were notified of a stolen vehicle in the Superior.

The vehicle was reported stolen last night in Thornton and had been seen by Broomfield Police Department, Westminster Police Department, and Colorado State Patrol driving through their respective jurisdictions. The stolen vehicle was located in a yard off of Begonia Way and West Yarrow Circle. The occupants were seen exiting the vehicle and leaving on foot. Law enforcement officers went into the area to attempt to locate the suspects.

Canine officers and patrol officers from the Broomfield Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, Louisville Police Department, and Adams County Sheriff's Office responded to the area to assist in locating the suspects.

During the search four school were on lock-out, including: Monarch High School, Monarch K-8, Superior Elementary, and Eldorado K-8. The lock-outs have since been lifted. All schools were dismissed as normal.

The suspects are still at-large, but are not considered to be dangerous.
