Updates to the Boulder County Regulatory Floodplain

The Boulder County Official Floodplain Map is available online

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Transportation received approval from the Board of County Commissioners for Docket Z-17-0002: Zoning Map Amendments to the Floodplain Overlay District Based on CHAMP Phase II Floodplain Mapping and other best available information after a public hearing on July 24, 2018. The resulting floodplain map amendments include the following changes to the Boulder County Official Floodplain Map:

  • Left Hand Creek
  • Little Thompson River
  • Lower Fourmile Canyon Creek (below Anne U. White trailhead)

  • St. Vrain Creek Floodway

  • Lower Boulder Creek Floodway (Kenosha Rd./115th St. to East County Line Rd.)
