Online Declarations

  • File Online for Business Owners (Available to businesses who received a postcard in lieu of a full declaration.) Deadline for filing declarations: April 15.
New for 2022 tax year—Boulder County is using a new Online BPP Filing system.

  1. To start the filing process, filers must first register their contact details using the link above.
  2. Once registered, filers will receive an emailed registration confirmation, containing a request to set up a username and password.
  3. When username and password have been established, filers will be able to login to begin the online filing process.
  4. After registering, if you do not receive a registration confirmation, please check your spam mail or contact with your designated staff to help check for potential firewall issues.

Downloadable Forms

The link above will take you to the Colorado Department of Property Taxation’s website to download declaration forms for all personal property types. These forms must be returned to the Boulder County Assessors Office, or the County within which the assets are located as of 1/1/2022. Please do not mail them to the State of Colorado.
