The Sort Yard is the best use of County Resources in the Allenspark area. It not only provides useful disposal of wildfire mitigation residue but staff have been excellent information resources for forestry practices, weed identification, and best practices. - Phil S.
We have been coming to the sort yard regularly for the past 5 years. Without this facility we would have never have been able to make this kind of progress clearing our property and mitigating against fire. Wayne and all of his staff are fantastic. We have enjoyed Jake this summer and still miss Tom and Nathan! Keep up the good work!- Mark and Yvonne
Thank you all for making the mitigation work so much easier!! You are very much appreciated! Muchas Gracias.- Anonymous
The sort yard is an asset to the mountain community. I have a small property (~1 acre) and don’t have room to pile materials to decompose safely. Thank You for the varied materials that are accepted (trees, pine needles, noxious weeds) .- Anonymous
