Historic Preservation Review Process (HP)

Historic Preservation Review Process (HP)

From miner’s cabins to turn of the century farming complexes, Boulder County values our historic resources. Only the owners of these resources can apply to have them Historic Preservation Designation FAQs, and doing so can lead to Historic Landmark Rehabilitation Grant Program of these structures. The Boulder County Historic Preservation Advisory Board makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on which resources pass muster.

The Land Use Department manages the number of planning applications accepted each week in order to align with available resources. Once you have had a Pre-application Conference and have a complete application ready for review, please contact the Land Use Department at 303-441-3930 to get on the schedule to submit your planning application.
