Stage 1 Fire Restrictions in effect for unincorporated areas of western Boulder County (map) (More…)

Boulder County COVID-19 status is at Level Clear | Vaccine locations and info available in English and Spanish.

Due to COVID-19, the Community Planning & Permitting Department is conducting business and providing services virtually. Our physical office in Boulder is currently closed to the public. Current days/hours of service are 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday.

Assuring the proper revegetation of disturbed areas is essential to slow soil erosion, repair scarring from cut and fill slopes, and to help deter noxious weeds. To ensure these goals are achieved, revegetation is a common requirement of development review approvals.

The publications below are meant to provide more detailed information on revegetation and guide you in creating a Revegetation Plan. If revegetation cannot occur within the required timeframe, revegetation escrow funds may be deposited with the County. See Revegetation Escrow for more information on this topic.
