Dillon Road Flood Recovery Project

During the September 2013 flood event, a culvert conveying Rock Creek underneath Dillon Road was washed away by flood waters. Boulder County Transportation plans to rebuild the culvert with a new, stronger, more resilient structure at the end of 2016. The short stretch of Dillon Road that has been closed since the flood will remain closed until the project is complete in the spring/summer of 2017.

Construction Details:

  • New three-cell, 12′ wide x 15′ high concrete box culvert
  • Drainage improvements
  • Dillon Road repairs
  • Final Design Plans

Schedule:

  • Work began in December 2016
  • Construction is anticipated to last through May 2016
