In honor of Nino Gallo, who passed away December 1, 2020, the Boulder County Commissioners have declared January 5th, 2021 as Nino Gallo Day in Boulder County, encouraging employees, friends, and residents to engage in appropriate celebrations and reflections of Nino’s life; and that the Commissioners extend our gratitude to Nino’s legacy of work in service to Boulder County.
Community Action Programs -- CAP

Boulder County Community Action Programs (CAP) began in 1965 as part of President Lyndon Johnson’s “War on Poverty.” Today, CAP continues to advocate for and help organize programs that foster self-sufficiency for individuals, families, and people of color with low-income.
