Batteries

We accept all alkaline, rechargeable and button cell batteries for recycling or disposal, including lead acid batteries (including auto batteries), lithium ion (Li-Ion), lithium primary, lithium polymer (Li-Po), nickel cadmium (Ni-Cd), and nickel metal hydride (Ni-MH) batteries. The terminals on batteries that are 9 volts or higher should be taped with clear tape so that we can clearly read the labels and also prevent any potential fires.

Dead batteries should be stored in a cool and dry area in a plastic or cardboard container. For your safety, the terminals on all lithium batteries and any other battery that are 9 volts or higher should be taped with clear tape so that we can clearly read the labels and also prevent any potential fires.
