Research Permit Requests

Interagency Research

Did you know that City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) and Jefferson County Open Space (JCOS) also fund research? To discuss the possibilities of a shared research project, please visit Interagency Research Proposals.

2018 Small Grants Program

Small grants are being offered for research and biological inventories on open space lands.

  • Grants are awarded up to $10,000.
  • Preference will be given to proposals that address the Priority Research Topics, but all proposals will be considered.
  • We strongly encourage you to contact appropriate staff members to discuss research topics in advance of the deadline.
  • The deadline for proposals is Monday, January 15, 2018.
