Notice of Valuation for 2021/2022 Tax Years

2021 NOVs are sent to property owners in Boulder County on May 1, 2021. In addition to identifying the property, the full page NOVs for residential properties contain:

  • Location, market area, and neighborhood
  • Description of the property’s characteristics
  • Photo

Notice of Valuation for 2022 Intervening Tax Year

For most properties, 2022 taxable value will remain the same as that of 2021, as reflected on the 2021 NOV owners receive by mail in May 2021. Property owners will receive a 2022 Notice of Value only if there was some change to the property from 2021. For these properties, the Assessor’s Office must value your property as it exists on January 1, 2022, and determine its probable market value as of June 30, 2020.
