Covid-19 Business Resources

This is a list of local, state and federal resources that could aid community businesses in dealing with COVID-19. Please note some of these services have been in existence before the pandemic, and some are new. Please use this list for your own reference, and if you know of any business services resources to be added , please email to wfbiz@bouldercounty.org

Boulder Small Business Development Center (SBDC) – Economic Development non profit- a public/private partnership. SBDC is offereing, one on one consulting over the phone, online workshops/programs and Small Business Loans resources.

The Workshare Program – Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) – The Division of Unemployment Insurance offers a Work-Share Program as an alternative to laying off your employees.

Rapid Response (CDLE) – Employers experiencing a reduction in workforce are eligible for support services including consultation on layoff aversion strategies, onsite workshops for employees in transition, job placement assistance, and information on unemployment benefits.

The US Department of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) – The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) today published “Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19” to help companies respond in the event of coronavirus in the workplace.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) – Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers. This guide, based on current knowledge of the coronavirus, gives employers information on how to prevent workplace exposures to the coronavirus in non-healthcare settings.
