Workforce Development Board

Workforce Boulder County’s Workforce Development Board (WDB) serves in an advisory capacity. The WDB is responsible for identifying regional workforce development needs and creating a comprehensive strategy for meeting them, while considering the region’s economic development priorities. The board meets five times each year.

WDB One Stop Operator Procurement

WfBC completed their procurement process via the Boulder County Procurement Office for the One Stop Operator required by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. WfBC completed a “Bid Template” to initiate the Request for Proposal (RFP)/Solicitation for Qualifications (SOQ) Process. The One Stop Operator Request for Proposal was posted on March 26, 2021 for the public to submit proposals by the Boulder County Office of Procurement. The Proposals were received and reviewed by the Workforce Development Board utilizing the ‘Scoring Matrix for RFPs and SOQs’. The Workforce Development Board identified through this process the One Stop Operator as the Boulder County Community Services Strategic Initiatives Division. The Boulder County Purchasing Office sent the Bid Award Letter to Boulder County Community Services Strategic Initiatives Division on June 21, 2021 stating that Boulder County Community Services Strategic Initiatives Division is awarded the One Stop Operator for Workforce Boulder County.
