Boulder County Motor Vehicle Offices are Open - Appointments recommended

While our offices are now open to drop-in services, we expect long lines and encourage the public to complete services online or to make an appointment.

Contact our office before making an office visit – If you are unable to complete your transaction online, we may be able to help you over the phone (303.413.7710) or by email (motorvehicle@bouldercounty.org).

COVID-19 Safety Precautions – Please be aware that you will be required to wear a mask while visiting any of our offices, including the MV Express Kiosk at the Boulder Clerk & Recorder. You will also be asked to follow social distancing protocols.

The Boulder County Motor Vehicle Division is the branch of the Clerk and Recorder’s office that certifies motor vehicle titles and registrations and acts as a division of the Colorado State Department of Revenue. Please note that we do not handle driver’s license services.
