Boulder County Motor Vehicle Offices are Open - Appointments recommended
Our office remains open for walk-ins but will continue to limit the number of people in our office and lobby. This may increase wait times outdoors.
We highly encourage the public to access motor vehicle services in the following manner:
- Try completing your transaction online at www.MyDMV.Colorado.gov. (Note: we recommend that you do not request license plates online at this time – see red alert at top of page). Over 30 motor vehicle services are available online, including:
- Vehicle registration / tag renewals (even when expired or in the grace month)
- Duplicate registration or title requests
- Address changes
- Disability parking placard applications and renewals
- And more!
- If you are unable to complete your transaction online or are unsure if you can complete your transaction online, please complete our Contact Us form or call 303.413.7710. We may be able to help you avoid the need for an office visit.
- If you are certain your service requires an in-person visit, please consider making an appointment. (Tip: Our Lafayette and Longmont offices have more appointment times available than our Boulder office).
